Tips

• Any item can be given to the new player.
• Brand new players start out in either Forest Start (in Groddle Forest), Meadow Start (in Groddle Meadows), or Heights Start (in Groddle Heights).
• Players often leave this goal until an opportune moment. New players can benefit from saying hello in the Help Channel. Players with this Quest will often ask if any new players are around.

• During alpha, players often left this goal until invites were sent to new players.
• In early December 2010, to aid alpha testers with the discovery of level 1 players, level displays were added on the right of everyone's name plate in-game. However, these were removed later in the month due to complaints that this increased competition to level-up, making the game less fun.
