Barnacle Party

Mortar Barnacles can be harvested by scraping them in Shimla Mirch. However, they take an extremely long time to regenerate and only yield one item per scraping. Being industrious Glitches, we figured out a way to expand our yield! When more than one Glitch interacts with certain objects at the same time - they all benefit from the action. Jellisacs can also be gathered this way.

Barnacle Parties are made easier by using Enter on the keyboard to select objects, and the Follow command to move in a group.

If you plan on going to scrape Barnacles, gather as many like-minded Glitches as possible.

When you approach an object, it will highlight in blue. Each Glitch should select the Barnacle.

Once everyone has selected the Barnacle, the party leader should start scraping. A bubble showing the scraping action will appear over their head.

Quickly - before the leader finishes scraping, everyone else should start scraping. Having the Scrape command pre-selected helps.

When everyone finishes scraping, each person will receive a Mortar Barnacle.

To be more clear, if one Glitch scrapes one Barnacle they will receive one Mortar Barnacle. If 30 Glitches scrape one Barnacle, they will each receive one Mortar Barnacle if they all scrape at the same time. In both cases, the Barnacle will regenerate after a length of time. Barnacle Parties are a good way to gather the large numbers required for a Street Project.
