The Help Channel is a temporary Channel for Alpha Testing to help new players, report things to devs and coordinate things across the world.

Later, the Help Channel became the place for new glitchen to ask questions, rather than cluttering Global Chat with an endless barrage of newbie questions. Some of these became so predictable that people made websites for them - there were websites called wherecanigetsalt.com and wherecanifindawoodtree.com.
