Home Security

Items in your home do not disappear when you leave the world so homes are often used to store extra things. In order to gain access to a house, the owner must give permission. If you knock on the door and the owner is online, they can grant you permission to enter from anywhere in the world. While visitors are in your home, they have full access to any items stored there and can leave items behind as well as remove them. Currently permissions expire at the end of each test cycle. *Note* If you leave the world while in a home, you will return to the world in the home, with or without current permission.

Moving House

When a player wishes to move from one house to another, the original house must be sold before a new one can be purchased. Houses resell for 80% of their original purchase price. Trophies are the only items that automatically transfer to the new house. Any trees, animals, or items in the old house at the time of sale will be left behind, and remain there for the next owner. Consequently, players must, prior to selling a house, pick up any items they wish to transfer to the new house. For players who use their houses to store many items, this may involve enlisting the help of friends to help with moving, possibly in exchange for food or drinks as is commonly done in real-life.

Trophy Cases

Main article: Trophy Case

A Trophy Case is a piece of furniture in your house where you can display your Trophies. Depending on house location and cost, your case will be one of many styles, but they all hold 5 visible trophies and have room for more non-displayed trophies as well.
