Eleven Alpha's intro screen

Eleven is one of two large-scale Glitch-revival projects (the other is Children of Ur). Eleven is working to re-create Glitch as it was at time of closing, using Flash and the resources left at the GlitchTheGame website, and occasional bits of advice from former devs from Tiny Speck. Like all uses of Glitch's public-domain resources, it's not affiliated with Tiny Speck.

It's currently in alpha; it brings in new players ("alphateers") when server resources allow, and when older players go inactive for long stretches.

Early Eleven alpha had issues like "no collisions" and "no counting" - quoins didn't work, and achievements based on counting (like Hen Hugger wouldn't earn a badge. To cover for this and other problems (trees keep dying because there aren't enough glitchen to pet them), devs used to drop large amounts of supplies at Gregarious Grange - bushels of grain, stacks of meat, jars of fertilidust - and later they came up with the Tester Tool, which provided infinite amounts of many resources, including currants, imagination, and the ability to top up mood and energy.

Current E-Alpha as of December 2017 has restored most of the skills and achievements, although there are still some quests that can't be completed. (The tester tool has a way to skip past them.) Many instanced locations don't exist yet - the code for them was incomplete and they need to be re-created. To prevent horrific game crashes when a player is sent to a place that doesn't exist in Eleven, the Ersatz Chamber was made.

The Eleven logo was designed by Kukubee.
