Elixir of Avarice enables you to collect an extra 50 quoins per game day. Each potion has 5 uses. You learn the recipe for this after gaining the achievement Numismatizer, Leprechaun Class (collected 100 coins for 5 game days in a row) and the skill Potionmaking I.
If you have all five of the Quoiner the Market upgrades, your daily quoin limit without the Elixir becomes 150 and with the Elixir, 200.
