No-No Powder grants you a "rush" consisting of one game-hour of unlimited mood and energy. After that, there is a "crash" or grace period during which you need to find and take more No-No Powder. If you don't take some more powder in time, you will die and go to Hell. When you recover, unlike normal death, your mood will be down to 0 and your energy down to nearly 0.
I strongly recommend you prepare for the aftermath of a No-No Powder withdrawal by making sure you are carrying enough beverages and food to fully restock your avatar back up from 0 points. For example, if my mood and energy are out of a 400 point max, I might make sure I had 200 cups of coffee (x 2 mood per cup) and 50 eggs (x 8 energy per fried egg) on hand.
