Currants, one of the four character Metabolics, are the local currency in the world of Glitch. Currants are used primarily to purchase items from vendors or auctions, and also house purchases. They are designated with the symbol , which is the HTML special character invoked with ₡

You can sell your inventory items to vendors or auctions in exchange for currants. Currants can also be gained from picking up currant quoins.

There is currently no way to give away currants to fellow players but you can work around this by initiating a trade with another player in exchange for currants.
