FAQs

• How do I create or delete redirects?
See Help:Redirects
• How do I add "this is a stub" to a page?
Add the following template invocation to the place in the page where you want those words to appear: stub

Formatting Links

• How do I format links in an article?
See Help:Links
• Why does my hyperlink show up in red even when I know the page exists?
Wikis are really picky about punctuation, plurals, and (if a multi word phrase is linked) capitalization. The wiki can figure out that the first letter of a phrase should be capitalized, but it's not smart enough to try capitalizing words in the middle of a phrase. Therefore,
Pinch of Salt
• Pinch of Salt Pinch of Salt works
• pinch of Salt pinch of Salt works
• pinch of salt pinch of salt does not work, because the wiki is not smart enough to capitalize the 's'.
• If you want pinch of salt to work, you need to write it as pinch of salt.
Oats
• Oats Oats works
• oats oats works
• Oat Oat does not work, because the wiki is not smart enough to pluralize it.
• If you want the link 'Oat' to work, you need to write it like so: Oat Oat
Bean
• Bean Bean works
• Beans Beans works
• Beans Beans works, because the wiki is smart enough to see that an 's' right after ]] indicates that the linked word is being pluralized.

Community

• How do I set up a user profile?
See Help:UserProfile
• What if I want to suggest a change to a page?
Each page has a matching discussion page which you can access in the bar right above the page's title, the link called "Discussion." You can post questions there, but please sign your name.
• How do I sign my name in a discussion?
If you put in the following characters, ~~~~ , then hit Preview, you'll see that the wiki software automatically expands it into a signature for you.
• How do I ask another user a question?
Click on their hyperlinked name (even if it's red) to get to their user page, then click the "Discussion" tab to get to their discussion page, then write your question there. The user will be notified by the wiki software.
