A Firefly is a small flying insect found in the Shimla Mirch region, underground.
It is not unlike a Butterfly, in that it randomly flies around. A player's first time in the presence of a Firefly triggers the Firefly 3000 Lab quest, which allows the player to acquire a Firefly Whistle. This whistle is required for catching Fireflies, along with a Firefly Jar, which is also awarded during the quest. Extra or replacement Firefly Jars can be bought at any Alchemical Tools Vendor.
A full jar of Fireflies, combined with 7 Barnacle Talc, can be made into a Plain Crystal, with the use of a Crystalmalizing Chamber.
